WHAT IS HYLON?
Hylon is the newest innovation in lash fibres, and it's about to change the way you create lash sets. While many lashes on the market are made with PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) material, Hylon takes this a step further with a unique production process that sets it apart from anything else out there.
Here’s what makes Hylon so special:
Super Black Finish: Unlike other lashes that can have an off-tone blue or green sheen, Hylon lashes are matte, deep, pure black. This rich colour gives your lash sets a bold, dramatic look.
Denser Appearance: Hylon lashes are designed with a less tapered tip, which makes them appear denser and more voluminous. This means you can achieve fuller lashes with every set.
Perfect for Fan-Making: The Hylon material has the ideal balance of firmness and softness. It’s slightly firmer than other fibres, which makes it easier to create perfect fans, whether you're using the on-strip, sticky dot, or pinch method. i have just started playing around with wet sets as a pro made artist! i’ve tried easy fanning & normal volume which i love but hylon are the perfect mix of both, i find them sooo easy to use!! super high quality and dark!
I’ve been lashing for nearly 2 years now and still struggle using handmade fans, but that was until Hylon Lashes!! These lash fibres are so beautifully dark, matte and easy to work with even for lash artists that are still learning or practicing their fan making skills like me. Hylon lashes act and feel very similar to easy fanning lashes which makes it a perfect product for advance, beginners and lash artists transitioning from pre/promades to handmade lash sets.
This photo is one of my regular clients who I usually only use promade lashes on. Since the release of the Hylon Velvet lashes we’ve been transitioning her to handmade volumes with each refill using the Hylon lashes. My confidence in making my own fans has grown tremendously in such a short amount of time and I’d highly highly recommend all lash artists to give this product a go at least once!! Both my clients and I are amazed at the results every time and this photo shows a 70% full coverage handmade set mixed with the usual promade fans, which is massive progress for me and my abilities. I absolutely LOVE using Hylon lashes and my clients love the look and feel of them even more!
It was love at first fan. These fibres are so easy to fan and pick up. Super beginner friendly. And I love that the sticky strip has the perfect balance of stickiness to be able to fan on the strip. I can’t fault them!
As far as handmade lashes go, this new Hylon lash fibre is IT! I’ve been a ride or die easy fanning girl for my career so far (and they still continue to hold a special place in my heart), but this new fibre has filled a void in my life that I didn’t know I had!
